This programme is designed to develop highly skilled agro-product professionals, specialising in integrated product development. Students will acquire the knowledge and expertise to innovate and enhance products that meet the evolving demands of industries such as food, cosmetics, and biomass. The curriculum offers a comprehensive approach, covering everything from market analysis and product design to raw material processing, production scaling, packaging, commercialisation, and intellectual property management.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A-LEVEL
Obtain minimum 2C and obtain minimum C Grade for A-Level in any ONE (1) of the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Economics, Accounting, Computing, Further Mathematics, Business Studies and obtain minimum IELTS Band 4.0 or TOEFL iBT score 31 or CEFR score A2
AUSTRALIAN MATRICULATION (AUSMAT/SACE)
Obtain minimum 60 ATAR and obtain minimum C Grade for SACE in any ONE (1) of the following subjects: Mathematical Studies, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Economics, Accounting/Accounting and Finance, Business Management Enterprise, Specialist Mathematics and Information Technologies Studies and obtain minimum IELTS Band 4.0 or TOEFL iBT score 31 or CEFR score A2
AMERICAN DEGREE TRANSFER PROGRAM (ADTP)
Obtain minimum CGPA 2.00 and obtain minimum C Grade for ADTP in any ONE (1) of the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Calculus and obtain minimum IELTS Band 4.0 or TOEFL iBT score 31 or CEFR score A2
DIPLOMA
Obtain minimum CGPA 2.00 and Diploma in a related field from an institution recognized by the government, MQA and endorsed by the UMK Senate; and obtain minimum MUET Band 2 from session 1/2021 or MUET Band 2 from year 2020 and before
STPM
Obtain minimum CGPA 2.00 and obtain minimum C grade for STPM level in any ONE (1) of the following subjects: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (M), Mathematics (T), Economics, Business Studies, Sport Sciences, Information and Communication Technology, Visual Arts, Accounting; and obtain minimum D grade for SPM level in any ONE (1) of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Additional Mathematics, Additional Sciences; or obtain minimum C grade for SPM level in any ONE (1) of the following subjects: Sciences, Mathematics, Agriculture Sciences, Food Processing, Nursery and Landscape, Aquaculture and Recreational Animals, Food Plants, Designs, Engineering Drawing, Civil Engineering Studies, Electrical Engineering Studies, Mechanical Engineering Studies; and obtain minimum MUET Band 2.0 for results obtained from session 1 of 2021 and MUET Band 2 for results 2020 and before.
